FEBRUARY 13th 2016
I hope you like these snazzy emails. As you might guess, the plan is for them to replace the printed newsletter. The cost saving is significant, both in admin time and money.

Many thanks to the people who responded with good wishes following my last appeal for "Heeeeelp!".

Two volunteers offered to cover some difficult days, so I will be able to use their generous offices this month. You may be glad to know that I was discharged from hospital last night after some very effective treatment. So it look as if the infection is at last behind me and I will be able to properly pick up the reigns at Workhouse Wood on Monday.

There are some days in February and March that still need cover. Do please look at and let me know when you can help out. Those who has done it so far have really enjoyed it.

You can always contact me at

A local resident has contacted me to say he has been trying to pick up litter around Plumstead Station but is finding it hard on his own. If anyone might want to help clear up the regular mess around the station area, do get in touch with me and I will be able to connect you up with Rob.
What should our council be scrutinising?
Royal Greenwich have invited suggestions for scrutiny panels, and I have started to fill in the form they have distributed. Please take a look at it and let me know how you think it might be better composed and worded. You will find it in:
Don't forget you can always find the evolving document outlining the development proposal for Workhouse Wood at:
